I don't know what kind of tree this is - they are all over town - but the blossoms are really beautiful. But between the wind and the bees (who seemed to like me as much as the flowers), it was difficult to get any decent shots. Anyway, I hope you enjoy these:

What lovely trees you have around you. Are they this Lavender blue? I have to figure out what they are as I dont see them around here.
My Neighbor and I have been worried about the bees disappearing as she has these lovely fruit trees in your yard. and the guy across the street from us put in a honey bee hive last year and man they are everywhere. But we love it. Without them we would all starve eventually. So praise the bee will ya? LOL
opps.. not YOUR YARD but HER YARD. Geesh.. I just cant seem to control these fingers. LOL
Hi Cris: yes, that's about the right color - my wife says the branches have thorns where the flowers come out - if you figure it out, let me know - I'll keep trying...
