"Balloon"...

This is an altered photo that I took a few years ago in the early morning in Auburn, WA. I was at a hotel, loading my car ,getting ready to leave, when I see a Majestic hot air balloon not far away. I watched it as it got closer, and closer - had to get my camera which was always close by in those days. It finally landed in a field right across the street from the hotel parking lot - it really made my day. Hope you enjoy it:

Hey Bill,

There is something about these balloons that simply mesmerise us (I can't explain what it is: perhaps it is the ability to take us higher, right?)!

I enjoyed looking at this picture: thanks :D!

Have a blessed weekend!
Cheers

Great shot. Dont you just love it when a photo op lands in your lap so to speak. I did an oil painting of hot air baloons at a show or what ever you call it. It hangs in my Garage now. No room anywhere else. :)I did it for a show I never entered because we moved. oh well, spruces up the garage. :))

Hi Cris - hope your back's getting better. I just figured it out - you and Teresa can start a Zentagle Gallery in your garage!!!!
It's Perfect, and you already have a headstart :-}

Nice shot. Every Memorial Day in a nearby town they have a really big hot air balloon day but of course I have not been there. After the 'incident' it bothers me to see things rise up in the air.....

How fortunate to look out and catch that sight. I always wanted to ride in one of those things. I'm hoping to make it to the New Mexico Balloon Races this year.

AVCr8teur: Hi Karen - I was happy to get it too! They have some sort of balloon fest in Salem, OR. or closeby. It is the most awesome sight to see dozens of differently colored ballons fill the sky! I hope you make it too! :=}
