Florence, Oregon is a quaint small town on the Oregon Coast north of Coos Bay. I took these pics in the early morning from our hotel balcony on our anniversary a few years back. Florence has a neat "Old Town" with a variety of shops that I unfortunately did not get any shots of! (left the camera in the car cuz I was too tired too carry it - how dumb is that!)

Those are beautiful photos, I love the first one, but then that second one has the lovely architecture...thanks. Wow, I don't even have a Martian comment about them (well, except, with landscape that lovely they will probably swarm to your part of the country!) Take care, have a great weekend!
Unplugged - Thanks Teresa - I don't live in that area any more - had to move to a dryer climate. Now we live next to a chemical depot where they are destroying chemical weapons - we live in what they call "The Kill Zone" - not very comforting, but I think that's where the you know what get their food :-}
Thats pretty bad Bill, leaving your camera behind because you were tired. :))) Every time I leave mine behind I miss that perfect shot. :)
These are good shots tho. I really like the Bridge shot best but the sun set is good too.

Hi Cris - thanks for your comment - my #1 rule is always take your camera - but I was tiered and it was a pretty heavy camera.... anyway these are all I got :-}
I sometimes like sunrises more than sunsets. When the day bursts open with a sunrise it makes me feel hopeful!

About that bridge... I believe that lovely photo may be the bridge over the Siuslaw river in Florence, OR. and not the one in Reedsport. ( I live in Reedsport and did live in Florence for many years...) but I could, of course, be wrong.
Of course it's in Florence!!! My mind was a town south......Thanks for the heads up...
