Hey OAG! That's a beautiful flower...the light pink looks like fabric and folds, reminds me of a bridesmaid dress (minus the martian follicle-like things protruding from it!) Hope you have a fantastic day waaaaaay over there in Oregon!

Hi Lynda: Thanks for your comment :-} They are one of my favorites too - I've got a LOT of photos of them!

Unplugged; Thanks for stopping by - I didn't think anyone would notice - this is actually an alien spawning fuchsia - hence the tentacles :-} Snow today -

I love this photo. It reminds me of my Grandmother. Along her covered walkway she had lots these growing. I used to think of them as Dancing Ballerina's. They look so graceful. she had this color you've taken and ones with a purple skirt. Wow this takes me back in time. They dont last to long here in Oregon.

Hi Cris: oooh! I really like the ones with purple! I have a digitally manipulated photo of this that maybe I'll post tomprrow, and you can tell me what you think :-}

Cool.. look forward to it. I wish I had photos of my Grandmothers flowers, but we only had B&W Brownie cameras then. Seems funny to say that now. Look how far technology has come and in not that long a time really. That was in the late fifties, early sixties. My next camera after that was a an instant something that started with an A ..same name as the film...and was in color and came with S&H stamp's. Do you remember those? :))

These Fuchsia blossoms are gorgeous! You've just inspired me to create some new polymer clay fuchsia beads. Thanks!
