Some of the artists of the 60's are revising their hits with new lyrics to accommodate
Aging baby boomers. Here's my TOP 10 LIST:
Number 10: "Papa's Got a Kidney Stone" - The Temptations
Number 9: "Splish, Splash, I Was Havin' a Flash" - Bobby Darin
Number 8: "Mrs. Brown, You've Got a Lovely Walker" - Herman's Hermits
Number 7: "I Am Woman, Hear Me Snore" - Helen Reddy
Number 6: "You Make Me Feel Like Napping" - Leo Sayer
Number 5: "Fifty Ways to Lose Your Liver" - Paul Simon
Number 4: "How Can You Mend a Broken Hip" - The Bee Gees
Number 3: "It's My Procedure, and I'll Cry If I Want To" - Lesley Gore
Number 2: "I Get By With a Little Help From Depends" - Ringo Starr
And the Number 1 song with revised lyrics for Baby Boomers is:
"On the Commode Again" - by Willie Nelson

Sorry - My Mistake...Oregon Blue Grass Band in the Snow
(Click on image to enlarge)
It was brought to my attention regarding yesterday's post : "Oregon BlueGrass" that I was leaving out a vital aspect of "Blue Grass" - that of course being the music. So I have added the Oregon based "Rogue Blue Grass Band" to complete the "BlueGrass" reference. Now isn't that better? :-}Seeya,

Lookin' Out My Back Door - Day 2

Not all that exciting, but if you compare it with yesterday's pic, you can see that we got about 5 more inches last night and its still snowing hard. 0 degrees with wind chill - I think I'll stay
home today :-}
As for the answers to the "Old Duffer" post "I'm still workin' on it"

Not much snow compared to a lot of places, but we don't get all that much here - so now you know what it looks like out my back door - this morning

We'll Return After A Word From Our Sponsers...
"A dangerous new virus is being distributed electronically. It is called the Worm Overload Recreation Killer (WORK). You can get WORK from your boss or colleagues. Do not touch it. The virus will wipe out your private life. If you come into contact with WORK, there are two antidotes. You can purchase Work Isolating Neutralizer Extract (WINE) or Bothersome Employer Elimination Rebooter (BEER). They're available at your local grocery store. Take repeatedly until WORK has been completely eliminated.
Forward this warning to five friends. If you don't have five friends, you're infected with WORK and it is controlling your life."

Oregon Fine Art Gallery to Close it's Doors
Yesterday I informed my link partners and customers that as of Dec. 31, Oregon Fine Art Gallery will be closing its doors. Its been fun, but health issues force the closure. Since I've already informed those who link to us, links are disappearing, and so will pagerank and position in google search. That being the case, we may close up A LOT SOONER. So if there is anything you want, please order it soon. Thanks to everyone for their support. The Blog will be hanging around indefinitely :-}

YIKES, I've Been Tagged!
Since this is my first time being tagged (by Susanne49 at :http://sues-daily-photos.blogspot.com/),I'll do my best to follow rules and instructions - It's going to take me a bit but you have to know that "I'll be workin' on it"
Seeya,
OregonArtGuy
Here are the Rules:
The rules in this game are: You get tagged and you will tag (5) others - it’s that easy! Or maybe not that easy....O.k. then... the exact rules of this game are:1. Link to the person who tagged you.2. Post the rules on your blog.3. Write 6 (or more) random things about yourself.4. Tag 5 people at the end of your post and link to them.5. Let each person know they’ve been tagged and leave a comment on their blog.6. Let the tagger know when your entry is up.But in between you also have to write something about yourself, something most people think, they don’t know about you. If you don’t want to expose your darkest sides – show only the sunny side of you, maybe they never find out the other stuff.
Since my life is pretty boring, and for the past 6 years has centered around health issues, you may fall asleep reading these 6 things. Hey wait a minute - thats one thing right there - but here goes:
1) For the past 6 years my life has been centered around health issues
2) I drink lots of coffee
3) I'm a high school drop-out (no surprise there :-})
4) My first romance was in kindergarten - really - lasted for many years
5) I have Fibromyalgia - thought I'd sneak one of those health thingys in there.
6) I've loved flowers since planting snap dragons and sweet peas with my mother when I was just a pup.
There - thats 6 - now.......... who to tag?
