Oregon Fine Art Gallery - Closing For Good - Really! But OregonArtGuy Blog will Still Be Here!

(Click pic to Enlarge)

Yep, OregonFineArtGallery.com is closing for good on Jan 1, 2009. If you haven't had a chance, take a look before the many thousands of pieces of art covering many periods and genres are gone from the internet for good. Like the one by James Tissot - "Young Lady in a Boat" Have Fun!

Looks Like Oregon Fine Art Gallery Won't Be Closing! :-}

I've got good news and I've got bad news - the good news:
As it turns out we got some incorrect information from a government agency (go figure), so Oregon Fine Art Gallery will remain open. Yea, happy,happy!
Now the not as good news:
Now all I have to do is contact all my former link partners and see if they would like to trade links again.
Here's a tip: I you have to deal with a government agency, keep calling until you get the same answer twice, throw that answer out, and continue until you have 3 answers that you were only given once. Chose any one of these answers that you like, and chances are you will be correct. :-}

Oh, BTW, Would anyone like to exchange links? :-}

OK, I'm Back From the Dark Side

Well, I'm finished the recovery operation of the suicide egg jumper - boy that was sad :(
So today I thought I'd share something a little cheerier (is that a word? - spell checker liked it). One of my digital art paintings entitled LAVENDER BEAUTY. I hope you like it. If you would like more info, just click on the link. Click on the image to enlrge it. I'm off to do some more editing, cataloguing, pricing and uploading - 'till next time,

(MUST FOCUS...) - This is an Art Blog - HERE"S SOME ART!

Madame Guillaumin Reading

OK, I'm back on track now. Were going to have to postpone van Gogh and Renoir updates indefinately - But I have a lot of other artwork to share with you - like the one above by French Impressionist Armand Guillaumin entited simply: "Madame Guillaumin Reading". Guillaumin was the longest living impressionist and probably the least well known, but his art was loyal to the impressionist movement. He used vibrant colors in his work, which I was not particularly fond of at first, but it has grown on me - you may like it too! Read more about him and view more of his works here. I hope you enjoy it - let me know what you think.
If you haven't had a chance to look at the RED GREEN video clips at the bottom of the page - you just gotta do it! They are TOOOOOOOO funny :-}
seeya,

P.S. It seems as though nobody liked my "One Blue Among Many" picture a few posts back. If you get a chance, take a look - I'd like to know what you don't like for my personal growth - Thanks, OregonArtGuy
